What it takes?

Coming up with a logo, creating a branding or updating company's branding is not a difficult task. It simply requires an understanding between the company and the designer. This means that everything begins and ends with the information I will collect and the information that the company will provide about its needs, its purpose, and who are thier target audience are.

How do we start?

The process begins with setting up a meeting, the purpose of which is to introduce me to the company, from there we can start talking and answering those questions that will help me understand who you are and what your goal is in creating the logo. Whose eyes do you want to attract and how?

There are 3 main steps for creating the right Logo

To show you an example and a behind-the-scenes work process, I chose my personal logo. The goal is to let you understand the main steps for creating a logo and show you the importance of right coloring, shapes and background story with which we can create the right logo for any business or individual.

The three main stages are actually the stages that come after conversations aimed at understanding who you are and what you are looking for in your new/upgraded logo. After we understand the story, we can start focusing on building the logo itself.

1

"THE NAME"

2

"THE SHAPE"

3

"THE COLOR"

First step is choosing a name, letters, initails or going in a diffrent way which is a some kind of sympol. Another thing to consider is adding a slogan.

Then we need to start looking at shapes and diffrent fonts that that will present the company's message and speak directly with our clientele

Last one is the color.
Each color has a psychological meaning and therefore a correct analysis of the color palette of the logo is necessary.

When I started thinking about a name I did a short market research and noticed that businesses similar to mine actually take the initials of the brand owner and make it part of the logo itself.
There is something very personal in my opinion about presenting my name, in my eyes it's like a promise that there is someone behind the design. I found that the name brings me closer to clients while giving a certain subconscious sense of security. In my case the O.F.D letters represent Oz Felus Design.

I wanted to use and show my clients a logo that is very simple but still very impressive. It doesn't have to be different from any logo I've ever seen, and to be honest the ability to be similar to something works psychologically in my favor.

After choosing the text of the logo itself, I went to figure out what shape or font would fit. The shape of the logo also has a great meaning for the customers. Geometry is a fundamental element in logo design, as it has a direct impact on how we perceive a logo and how we feel when interacting with it.

Out of all the common geometric shapes, I decided to focus on the most common - the circle which is also the first letter of my name.
The circle was very suitable for the message I want to present through the brand. The circle is often associated with unity, wholeness and eternity. In addition, the circle can convey a sense of movement. Brands that use a circle in their logo can convey a message of trust, continuity and connection.

It is important to remember that choosing the right geometric shape for the logo should be based on the brand identity and the values you want to convey. There is no single formula for logo design, as each brand is unique and has its own needs and goals. The arrangement of the geometric elements is also important in logo design. Symmetry conveys balance and harmony, while asymmetry can convey dynamism and originality. It is important to find the right balance between symmetry and asymmetry to convey the desired message.

After we have chosen the shape and placed the inscription in a way that suits us, we approach to understand what color palette is best for our brand. The colors you choose for your logo will serve to represent your brand, communicate your brand's values and reinforce your brand identity

As part of my specialization in the field, I learned that every color has a meaning and every color is perceived differently in the eyes of people. For example, I will give examples of two very prominent colors and what message they give. Let's take the red color and the green color. Red Common associate with hunger, love, passion, excitement, anger, and danger. While green symbolizes Nature Health Wealth Tranquility Harmony Fertility

Although the red color is very attractive and beautiful in my eyes, it does not convey the message I want to the end. The same can be seen regarding the green color that I like. An important emphasis that I will give now but applies to all the steps - it is important to stop in the process, to understand and refine all the time what is the message that we would like to convey. That's how to really get the right color. You can say that in choosing the colors of the brand I went for it - black and white - but let's talk for a second about the meaning of these colors and from there we will come to an interesting perspective that I chose to link to the colors and the brand. Common associations for black include: Power Strength Intelligence Glamour Luxury Modern and white is all about Purity Cleanness Classic

The black color next to the white color may seem like a default or even
something that hasn't been thought about but they are actually everything I was looking for! There is something very simple but very deep about them. Beyond that, something that  interested me is that the black color is actually the absence of light, some would say that it absorbs and contains all the colors, while according to science when the white color "breaks" it also contains all the colors of the rainbow.
